Anita Morgan
CO-PRESIDENT
Anita is Co-President. It is her responsibility to oversee all Board matters and the day-to-day operations of Parents' Place. She attends Tuesday and Thursdays.
Anita is originally from Wheeling, WV and now lives in Morgantown. Although she’s been living in the area since she was a college student, Morgantown didn’t feel like home until her family joined Parents’ Place when her oldest was two years old. Now, she has three sons. They normally spend their time park-hopping around town, splashing in the creek or playing in the backyard with the chickens.
“Being in the parent room gives such a realistic balance to what I see online. I’ve found solidarity and support. It’s really helped me embrace and celebrate this chaotic season of life.”

She loves spending time with her three children, husband, friends, and family.
“Parents’ Place has been an incredible place for my son and me to socialize, learn, and have fun! Being part of this program has been a gift from day one and I love that I have the opportunity to give back to it by volunteering in this position.”

"Parents' Place ended up being the community of support I didn't realize I so desperately needed! Fostering through the pandemic and parenting children with traumatic histories left me feeling very isolated. Parents' Place has allowed for meaningful connections for both my daughter and I that I will always be grateful for!"

"I originally heard about Parents' Place through my neighbors. I checked it out to see if it was a good fit for my children and me. My eldest child struggled with separation anxiety and had never been away from me. I noticed a positive impact after my child attended a few classes at a Parents Place. My oldest was excited to attend school and started socializing with his peers. Now my child asks to go to the classroom! I am so happy we found Parents Place. It has helped my little ones grow socially and introduced my family and me to the Morgantown community."

As soon as we started attending Parents' Place when my oldest was 2 and my youngest was an infant with me, I felt I had found the community that I had been missing. Rob Lopez
COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING CHAIR
Rob is the Community Fundraising Chair. It is his responsibility to create additional fundraising opportunities for the school that also help to grow community relations.

Teaching his kids to learn is the greatest joy in the world. He loves cheering on the long-suffering Dallas Cowboys, keeping up with the UFC, and tracking just about every sport stat he can get my hands on. When he is not caught up in the game, he dives into creative thinking and research, exploring everything from history to Album of the Year and whatever else sparks his curiosity.
